Produced Work
Brendan has penned several projects, including theater, movies, series and music.
The Plus One
Brendan co-wrote a feature wedding comedy with Austin Highsmith Garces that was produced by Ashanti as a vehicle for herself, Cedric the Entertainer, BJ Britt and more. The premise is based on Brendan’s own real-life experience where a couple asks their friend to specifically not bring his girlfriend as his plus one and she advocates to attend anyway.
Non-Player Character (2021-23)
Brendan authored the book and lyrics of a live musical about an NPC of a video game who witnesses the death of the Hero character and turns to the audience to navigate the five stages of grief. Brendan also co-wrote the music with musical arranger, Maurice Soque Jr. The show was performed in virtual reality with hybrid, on-site performances at The Mugar Omni in Boston and Rich Mix in London.
Video Game Reunion (2011)
Brendan was staffed on the MTV Networks 14-episode digital series about washed up video game characters reuniting a convention in Las Vegas. Brendan was credited for contributions on all episodes, and worked directly with creator, Matt Lewis, to craft episodes three, six and ten.
Jettison (2007, 2020)
Brendan’s first play was commissioned by Impetuous Theater Group with productions in New York and Miami. The one act chronicles three strangers stranded in a life boat who discover one of them is hiding a pet rabbit. Jettison was later published by Desert Road Publishing and remounted in virtual reality during the 2020 shutdown.
