Performance Capture
Brendan has appeared in a number of interactive and video game projects using motion tracking and performance capture. He is available for consulting and performing using various digital systems and his work often follows strict non-disclosure agreements. Below are some of the projects Brendan can speak about publicly.
Brendan’s live virtual reality performances involve a specific format of performance capture (similar to virtual puppetteering) often limited to only three points of tracking (head and hands) with additional expressions mapped to buttons on his hand controllers. Below is a presentation Brendan gave on-stage in South Korea at the spacial computing conference, SIGGRAPH demonstrating some of methods of this work.
